Traditions: People enjoy admiring the Goddard erection; as in a monument to Robert Goddard, the man who invented liquid rocket fuel.
Geographical Features: Again, the Goddard Erection, or possibly a statue of Sigmund Freud, who (along with Carl Jung) lecured at Clark. It was the only U.S. school Freud ever visited.
Architectural Features: Again, the Goddard Erection, or possibly the Goddard Library, which in the 1970s was the Grateful Dead’s favorite place to “trip”.
Any famous alumni? I am sure there are, but they all pale when compared with me. The list (Editor’s note: highlights include Jeff Lurie, owner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Matt Goldman of Blue Man Group, and actor John Heard)
